Summer Reading

Join us as we celebrate another successful summer reading program with a pool party. Refreshments and prizes will be at the Cooper Pavilion at the Pool Park. Children and their families can swim at the pool at no charge for the remainder of the evening.

Participants can "Travel The World" in this amazing race! Adventurers will answer trivia questions, make crafts, and survive challenges along the way.

Roz Puppets are back in Fort Recovery! "The Frog Prince" is a familiar tale, filled with kindness and friendship. This full length show will be fun, furry and unforgettable entertainment.

Ready, Set, Go! We'll be playing Outdoor Games behind the library. 

Calling all artists! Join us for crafts at the library ALL DAY! Kids of all ages, and a parent/guardian, are invited to participate.

Our "First-Chapter Friday" event continues with a movie! This story, filled with fantasy, adventure, and imagination, comes to life in the movie. Snacks and covered beverages are welcome.

Wear your PJs, bring a cozy blanket, and come settle in to watch a full-length, family-friendly, movie from our collection. Snacks and covered beverages are welcome.

During this activity with the Armstrong Air and Space Museum, find out how solar eclipses work and design your own eclipse observers out of household materials.

The Grand Lake Mariners will be at the library to host story time and a craft. Everyone is sure to have a "ball".

How well can you work with others? Listen to this fantastic folktale, "Quarreling Quails", a tale about teamwork! this story and activity will be led by Mrs. Abby Scheidt. (Recommended for students in 2nd through 5th grades).
