The Library will close at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 17th to allow our staff time to prepare for the Summer Reading Program Finale at Ambassador Pool Park. Join us at 5:00 PM at the Cooper Brothers Park Pavilion behind Ambassador Pool for our Finale to "A Universe of Stories". Students in grades 2 and above are invited to joins us for a fun STEM space activity at the Library on Friday, June 14th at 10:30 AM. This activity will be held the same time as a Story Time for the younger kids. Bring the whole family up for some fun and learning at the Library!
A used book sale will be held at the Library October 14 - October 19, during regular library hours. Books are buy one, get one free, for Members of the Friends of the Library. Saturday, October 19 will be a special sale day: $1.00 per bag of items. The library accepts donations of gently used books, DVDs, Blu-Rays and audiobooks. Items not accepted are VHS tapes, cassette tapes, textbooks, magazines, dictionaries, encyclopedias, and books in poor condition. Thank you for supporting your local library.
Join us on Wednesday, July 17th as we celebrate another successful Summer Reading Program with food, prizes, and a pool party. Hot dogs, chips, and drinks will be served at 5:00 at the Shelter house at the pool park with prizes given at 5:45. Children and their families can swim at the pool at no charge for the remainder of the evening.
