The Friends of the Library invite you to participate in a table centerpiece craft night on Tuesday, October 26 at 6:00 PM. Laura Wenning, owner of A Simple Touch, will instruct participants on how to assemble a Fall centerpiece. The cost for the event is $35 and includes all materials and instruction. Members of the Friends of the Library can participate for $30. Pre-registration is required by calling 419-375-2869 and space is limited.

The Used Book Sale will be held at the Library, October 18 - 23, during regular business hours. Patrons are invited to shop the sale for books, audio books, and movies for all ages and interests. A free-will donation is accepted for items selected. Donations are still being accepted. Items must be in good condition. Items not accepted are textbooks, encyclopedias, Reader's Digest Condensed Version books, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, and magazines. For more information, please contact the Library at 419-375-2869.

The Book & Lunch Club meets on the first Wednesday of the month, September through May, at 10:30 AM. Each month, a book is chosen and discussed as a group. Anyone is welcome to join the discussion. Stop by the Library to request a copy of current selection.

The 18th Annual Fort Festival of Trees is going on now at the Library! Come see the beautifully decorated Christmas Trees and vote for your favorite for the People's Choice Award. A big thank you to the individuals, organizations, and businesses that volunteered their time and talents to put together a beautiful display. This free event is open to the public and is sponsored by the Fort Recovery Friends of the Library.

The Scholastic Book Fair will be held at the Library on Sunday, November 15, 2020 during the Community Christmas Open House. The library will be open from 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This event is sponsored by The Friends of the Library.

Come and shop for Christmas at the Library! The Scholastic Book Fair will be open at the Library Monday, November 9th - Saturday, November 14th. Books can also be purchased during the Community Christmas Open House on Sunday, November 15th. Support the Friends of the Library through this fundraiser and get great gifts for Christmas.
