Children's Program

The Friends of the Library is once again sponsoring a “Pumpkin Painting” night at the Library on Tuesday, October 13, at 6:00 PM and a second session at 7:00 PM. Pre-registration for this event is required as pumpkins are limited. The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There will be no charge for Friends of the Library Members. Calling all kids to join us for Crafts and Bingo on Friday, September 25 at 10:30 AM. The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There will be no charge for members of the Friends of the Library. This event is sponsored by the Fort Recovery Friends of the Library.

Cheeseman Trucking will be giving a presentation to the kids about their business.

Join us at the Library for Story Time this summer during our Summer Reading Program, "Every Hero Has a Story." 

Students in grades 3 - 7 are invited to join us at the Library on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 6:00 for a "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" party. Bring your "Wimpy Kid" knowledge and an appetite for CHEESE! Dress as your favorite "Wimpy Kid" character for a chance to win a Best Dressed award. Pre-registration is encouraged - call the Library at 419-375-2869 or email us at frpl@seolibraries.org.

We're Frozen! Come join us for a "Frozen" party Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Library from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. There will be crafts, games, a sing- along and lots of fun! The cost for this event is $1.00 per child. There is no charge for Friends of the Library members. 

Letterboxing for Kids - A Low-Tech Treasure Hunt: Discover how letterboxing started and how you can involve the family.  Program will be hosted by the Friends of the Library on Tues., Nov. 11, 6:30 pm at the library.  Also learn how to make your own stamp, the artistic aspect of the letterboxing experience.  Stamping supplies will be available for $1.00.  Friends' members free.  Everyone is welcome.  For more info. call the library (419)375-2869.

November 17 - November 22, A Scholastic Book Fair sponsored by the Friends of the Library will be held during normal library hours. Special Hours will be Sunday, November 16, from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM during Fort Recovery's Annual Community Christmas Open House. Find great Christmas gifts for everyone on your list! Pre-order is available.

Students in grades 4 - 8 are invited to participate in a "Disney Murder Mystery Party", Tuesday, October 21st from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the library. To register please call the library at 419-375-2869.
