Calling kids of all ages. Come visit Santa at the Library Tuesday, December 5th from 5:30 pm - 7:00 pm. We can't wait to visit with Santa and share our Christmas wishes. Santa's visit is sponsored by the Friends of the Library. 

Join the Fort Recovery Friends of the Library for a visit with author, Judy Bruns and illustrator, Kathy Salyer Ayers on Monday, November 6th at 6:30 PM. They will share their picture story book about a neighborhood baseball game that took place in Fort Recovery years ago...a game not soon forgotten. Baseball enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to attend.

The Friends of the Library will be hosting a Pumpkin Painting evening at the Fort Recovery Public Library on Tuesday, October 10^th. There will be three sessions for patrons to choose from and the cost for the event is $1.00 per child. There is no charge for members of the Friends of the Library. Each session runs for 45 minutes and the beginning times are 4:30 PM, 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. Please pre-register for this event by calling the Library at 419-375-2869. 

Good luck to all students participating in the Battle of the Books on Tuesday, March 20th at 6:30 PM at the Fort Recovery Elementary Auditeria. Over 50 students from Fort Recovery and Coldwater will be competing as teams in this battle to determine who has the most knowledge. The students were given a pre-selected list of titles to read and study to prepare for the competition. This event is open to the public. 

Let's Celebrate Dr. Seuss! Grab Your Hat and Read With The Cat! Join the Friends of the Library as we celebrate with a Birthday party for Dr. Seuss! Enjoy Seuss-filled crafts, stories, activities and games! This free event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library and is open to the public.

Santa will visit the Library Tuesday, December 6th from 5:30 - 7:00 PM. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Join us at the Library for Story Time every Friday morning at 10:30 AM AND most Tuesday evenings at 6:15 PM. (some Tuesdays may be crafts only). Story Time is open to all young children and their parent or guardian. We look forward to seeing our Story Time room filled! Be sure to check out our online calendar for Story Time dates.

The Battle of the Books competition for 4th and 5th graders will be held at the Fort Recovery Public Library Tuesday, March 29th at 6:00 PM.
